We've all had that 48-hour layover where nobody answers the group chat. Layvr shows who's actually at the hotel, if they've opted in.
Verified crew only
Layvr uses airline email domain verification to ensure only genuine crew can join. Your layover information is only visible to other verified crew members on the same trip, not the general public, not other passengers, not anyone outside the industry.
Your profile shows your name, airline, and base. Everything else is up to you.
Direct messaging
Once you can see who's on your layover, you can message them directly through Layvr. No need to share personal phone numbers. No group chats that live on forever. Just a clean, crew-only message thread for the duration of the layover.
Direct messages are free for all crew.
Layover tips and city guides
Crew who've been to a city before often know it better than any travel guide. We're building a way for Layvr to surface tips and recommendations from crew who've laid over in the same city, the coffee shop near the hotel, the restaurant worth the walk, the gym that gives crew a day pass. Layover questions
How long are cabin crew layovers?
Layover length varies significantly by airline and route. Short-haul crew may have turnarounds of a few hours. Long-haul crew can have layovers of 24, 48, or 72 hours. Your layover time starts when you're released from duty at the hotel and ends at your next check-in time. Read our full guide: cabin crew layover tips.
Can pilots use the layover feature?
Yes. Layvr is for both cabin crew and pilots. The layover discovery feature works the same way for both, showing all verified crew on the same trip, regardless of role.
What if I don't want to appear on other crew's layover list?
You can set your profile to private at any time. When private, you won't appear in other crew's layover views and you won't be able to see theirs. You can switch back to visible whenever you want.
