Flight duty period tracker

Your FDP is calculated automatically from your report time to your release, including all ground time, delays, and positioning flights. Layvr flags any duty approaching your regulatory limit so you can see potential issues before you're at the aircraft.

FDP limits vary by report time and number of sectors. Layvr applies the correct limit for each duty based on EASA regulations and your airline's Operations Manual parameters.

FDP tracking is free for all crew. FDP limits explained.

Roster change alerts

Rosters get changed, often with barely any warning. Layvr Pro pushes a notification the moment yours is updated, with a diff view that shows exactly what changed and how it affects your FDP, layovers, and pay.

You'll know before you'd have spotted it on your crew portal. Roster change alerts are a Layvr Pro feature, available with Layvr Pro.

Roster and FDP questions

What is the difference between FDP and block hours?

Block hours are wheels-up to wheels-down, the time the aircraft is actually in the air. Your duty starts before that, at report time, and finishes after it, at release, so it covers briefing, boarding, ground time between sectors, and whatever's left to do after landing. That's why FDP is almost always the bigger number.

Does Layvr support augmented crew operations?

Yes. For augmented crew operations where in-flight rest applies, Layvr can account for the extended FDP limits that apply when a compliant rest facility is available. This is configured in your airline's pay and duty settings.

What happens if my airline isn't supported yet?

If your airline isn't currently supported, you can still import your roster manually via CSV or iCal format. You can also request it be added, more airlines get added as crew ask for them.
