Employee tickets vs revenue passengers

Most airlines issue staff tickets at a heavily discounted rate (often ID90 or similar) on a space-available basis. You are not guaranteed a seat until you're cleared. That means loads, how full the flight is, how many staff are already listed, how many passenger seats remain, matter enormously.

Standby lists and priority

Priority usually depends on your airline, role, check-in time, and sometimes seniority. Two crew on the same flight can have very different outcomes based on list position and whether the operating carrier honours your ID agreement on that route.

Why load intel is crew-shared, not official

Airline employee portals rarely show real-time standby counts in a way that's easy to compare across carriers. Crew fill the gap by sharing what they saw at the desk, what the gate agent said, or what cleared yesterday on the same rotation.

What Layvr Staff Travel is building

Layvr Staff Travel is building structured load reports and requests by route - staff standby counts, open passenger seats, and route tips inside the same verified network used for layovers. Guides are live now; in-app load requests are coming soon. No public Facebook groups required.
