Add your roster to Layvr

RosterBuster

Export your roster as iCal or CSV, then import into Layvr

    Open RosterBuster on your phone

    Launch the app and make sure your roster is fully synced and up to date.

    Tap the Share or Export icon

    In RosterBuster, find the Export button - usually a share icon (↑) in the top-right corner of the calendar view.

    Choose iCal (.ics) or CSV format

    Select iCal if you'd like calendar sync, or CSV for a one-time import. iCal is recommended - it lets Layvr subscribe and stay in sync automatically.

    💡Tip: If you see a "Subscription URL" option, copy that link and use the iCal subscription method in the calendar sync section below - it means Layvr will auto-update as your roster changes.

    Share or save the file

    Tap Share and choose Save to Files (iOS) or note where it saved (Android).

    Open Layvr and go to Roster Import

    In Layvr, tap Profile → Roster → Import roster. Tap Upload file, navigate to your exported file, and tap to import. Layvr will parse your duties automatically.

🔒Privacy: Your roster file is processed on your device. Layvr stores only the duty events - never your RosterBuster login credentials.

iBid

Download your schedule from the iBid portal, then import into Layvr

    Log in to the iBid crew portal

    Open the iBid web portal or app used by your airline and sign in with your crew credentials.

    Navigate to My Schedule or Roster

    Find the My Schedule, My Roster, or Pairing section - exact names vary by airline configuration.

    Export to iCal or CSV

    Look for a Download or Export button. Select .ics (iCal) or .csv format and download the file.

    💡Can't find the export button? Try right-clicking the calendar view - some iBid versions hide the export option in a context menu. Alternatively, contact your crew scheduling office and ask for a roster export.

    Transfer the file to your phone

    If you downloaded on a computer, AirDrop (iPhone) or email the file to yourself. Save it in Files or Downloads.

    Import into Layvr

    In Layvr, tap Profile → Roster → Import roster, then tap Upload file and select your downloaded file.

CrewConnect

Copy your schedule from CrewConnect and paste it into Layvr

    Open CrewConnect on your phone

    Launch CrewConnect and ensure your roster for the current and next month has loaded.

    Go to your schedule view

    Navigate to the Schedule or My Roster tab. Scroll to see the full list of your upcoming duties.

    Look for Share or Export

    Some CrewConnect versions have a Share icon or a Calendar sync option. If available, choose iCal or Export to Calendar.

    💡No export option? Try the paste method - long-press on your roster text to select all, copy, then paste into Layvr's roster import screen. Layvr will automatically read the duty pattern from the copied text.

    Use Layvr's paste import

    In Layvr, tap Profile → Roster → Import roster, then tap Paste from CrewConnect. Paste the copied text and tap Import.

  5. 5

    Repeat each month

    CrewConnect doesn't yet support automatic calendar subscriptions. Import your new roster at the start of each bidding period.

Airside

Export your Airside schedule and bring it into Layvr

    Open the Airside app

    Launch Airside on your phone and make sure your latest roster is synced. Check the notification bell for any pending updates.

    Open your roster view

    Tap the Schedule or My Duties tab to see your upcoming flights and duties.

  3. 3

    Tap Share and choose iCal

    Tap the ⋮ (more) or share icon and select Export to Calendar or Share iCal. Save the .ics file to Files.

    💡Calendar subscription link: If Airside offers a subscription URL (usually shown as a link you can copy), use the iCal subscription method in the calendar section below - Layvr will auto-update when your Airside roster changes.

    Import the file in Layvr

    In Layvr, tap Profile → Roster → Import roster → Upload file, select the .ics file, and tap to import.

CSV or iCal file

Already have a roster file? Upload it directly

    Locate your roster file

    Layvr accepts .csv, .txt, and .ics (iCal) files. Make sure the file is saved in Files (iOS) or your Downloads folder (Android).

    Open Layvr and go to Roster Import

    Tap Profile → Roster → Import roster in the Layvr app.

    Tap Upload file

    Tap Upload file, navigate to your roster file, and select it. Layvr will parse the duties and show you a preview before importing.

    Confirm the import

    Review the detected duties and tap Import to add them to your Layvr roster. If anything looks wrong, check that your file includes columns for date, flight number, and times.

    💡CSV format tip: Layvr looks for columns named date, from, to, departs, arrives, and flight (all case-insensitive). Contact support@layvr.com if your airline's format needs a custom mapping.

📅 Sync your roster to your phone's calendar

Once your roster is in Layvr, subscribe to it from iPhone Calendar or Google Calendar - your duties will appear automatically and stay up to date.

    Get your Layvr iCal link

    In Layvr, go to Profile → Roster → Calendar sync. Tap Copy calendar link to copy your personal iCal subscription URL to the clipboard.

    Open iPhone Settings

    Go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar.

    Paste your Layvr link

    Paste the URL you copied from Layvr into the Server field, then tap Next.

    Name it and save

    Give it a name like Layvr Roster, choose a colour, then tap Save. Your duties will appear in the Calendar app within a minute.

🔄iPhone Calendar automatically refreshes subscribed calendars every few hours. When your roster updates in Layvr, the changes will appear in your calendar automatically.

    Get your Layvr iCal link

    In Layvr, go to Profile → Roster → Calendar sync. Tap Copy calendar link to copy your personal iCal URL.

    Open Google Calendar on desktop

    On a computer, go to calendar.google.com. The "Other calendars" import only works from desktop - not the mobile app.

    Add from URL

    In the left sidebar, click + Other calendars → From URL. Paste your Layvr iCal link and click Add calendar.

  4. 4

    Done - it'll sync automatically

    Google Calendar refreshes the subscription roughly every 24 hours. For faster updates, open the calendar settings and look for a Refresh option.

📱The subscribed Google Calendar will also appear in the Google Calendar mobile app once synced from desktop - no extra steps needed.
